Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Verity Play (the “Service”), operated by Verity Life Solutions Inc. (“Verity,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secret and for all activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Subscriptions and billing
The Service offers paid subscription tiers. By purchasing a subscription you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Pricing is shown on the pricing page and may change with at least 30 days’ notice for existing subscribers.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the account pageor through Stripe’s customer portal. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the current paid period. We don’t pro-rate refunds for unused time in a billing period.
Refunds. All charges are final unless required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@verityplay.com within 30 days.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we retry the charge. If it continues to fail, your subscription enters a grace period and is then paused. You can update your payment method on the account page to resume access.
Taxes. Subscription prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes (GST/HST in Canada, sales tax in the US, VAT elsewhere). Stripe calculates and adds applicable taxes at checkout based on your billing location.
3. Content and intellectual property
All audio, video, text, images, branding, and other materials on the Service are owned by Verity Life Solutions or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to stream and consume the content for your own use.
You may not:
- Download, record, copy, or redistribute the content except where the Service explicitly provides a download or share button
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, mirror, or extract content programmatically
- Share your account credentials, or sublicense your access to anyone else
- Use the Service to develop a competing product
Share links, when offered, allow a single piece of content to be viewed by a recipient under the same terms that apply to your account. Share links can be revoked at any time.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- Attempt to bypass authentication, paywalls, or rate limits
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without our written permission
- Send automated traffic that interferes with the Service
- Upload or transmit malicious code
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these rules.
5. Content is educational, not advice
The content on Verity Play is educational and informational only. It is notpersonalized financial, legal, tax, insurance, or investment advice. Concepts taught — including the Infinite Banking Concept, whole life insurance strategies, and cash flow methods — involve complex financial products that may not be suitable for everyone. Before acting on anything you learn from the Service, consult licensed professionals in your jurisdiction. See our disclaimer for additional detail.
6. Third-party services
The Service integrates with Stripe (payments), Wistia (video hosting), Cloudflare, Supabase, and other providers. Their terms apply to the services they provide. We’re not responsible for outages or actions of those third parties.
7. Termination
You can close your account at any time from the account page or by emailing support@verityplay.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if we reasonably believe continued access creates legal or operational risk. We will refund any prepaid amounts for the unused portion of your subscription in the event of a termination by us that’s unrelated to a violation by you.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR APPLICABLE TO YOUR SITUATION.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL VERITY OR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) CAD $100.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limits may not apply to you in full.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Verity and its affiliates against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, or your actions based on the educational content (see section 5).
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and Verity agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
